Arsenal play their final pre-season game at home when they play Lyon in the Emirates Cup on Sunday. The Gunners will play the Ligue 1 side at the Emirates Stadium in London, according to our prediction of a home win with multiple goals.

Lyon’s pre-season was in stark contrast to their hosts, winning two, drawing one, and losing one match each. They did win their last match, though, beating Union Berlin by a 4-0 scoreline.
This will be the final friendly for the visitors before their league campaign starts next weekend with a game against Rennes. Lyon couldn’t be taken lightly by the hosts, as the French side has denied Arsenal the pre-season Emirates Cup, becoming just one of the five non-English teams to end up doing so.
Lyon would be desperate to have a good start to this campaign, especially as they flirted with relegation last season, before ensuring safety. Over their four previous matches against Arsenal, Lyon have won just once, lost two, and drawn one.
