Arsenal look to ensure that they end the weekend still in the Premier League top four. They are fourth at present and host struggling Leeds United who are in 17th place in the table. The weekend begins with Arsenal holding a two point lead over fifth placed Tottenham with four games remaining. Tottenham play the day before and have to travel to Anfield. A win will see them go into fourth but anything but that will allow Arsenal to extend their lead over them by doing well against Leeds. Arsenal will be looking for their 12th home league win of the season.  Their last home fixture saw them get an important 3-1 win over Manchester United. That was a vital three points in their bid to get back into the Champions League after two successive home losses. Four of the last six home league games have had over 2.5 goals scored in them. The same figures apply to the both teams scoring stat at the Emirates. This is their penultimate home league fixture with the final one being against relegation-threatened Everton.

Leeds United’s relegation worries intensified at the weekend. Wins for Burnley and Everton have left them two points clear of the bottom three and having played a game more than 18th placed Everton. Burnley play the day before, while Everton are at Leicester at the same time as this match.. Leeds have only lost two of their last seven league games but play Chelsea after this game and could well soon be in the bottom three, perhaps even this Sunday. Leeds have earned seven points from their last three on the road and will be hoping for something from this game. This is tougher than playing Wolves, Watford and Crystal Palace. Their record against Arsenal is not good. They lost 4-2 at the Emirates last season and the reverse fixture this term saw them beaten 4-1 at home. Go for Arsenal to get the home win.
