A 3-1 defeat at Swansea City on Tuesday has left Arsenal eight points adrift of the top four and virtually nine because of their inferior goal difference. They may well have signed a new striker but a new defence and a team that can get results on the road would be more useful. The loss to Swansea followed defeat at Bournemouth and they have just three away league wins all season. Home form is so much better with nine wins out of 12 and just five goals conceded and they have to get three points against Everton. They start a run of six important games that includes league games against Spurs and Manchester City, the last 32 of the Europa League and the Carabao Cup. Everton had been slipping again until a 2-1 home win over Leicester on Wednesday with both goals coming from ex-Arsenal player Theo Walcott. That win took them to ninth in the table and eight points above the bottom three. Away form is a big worry for them though with just one win and eight points from 12 league games. Three of their next four league games are away from home so they aren't safe just yet. Go for a home win in this match.
