Arsenal vs Everton Prediction & Betting Tips - Women's Super League

Arsenal Women face off against winless Everton Women in one of Sunday’s Women’s Super League fixtures. The Gunners face the Toffees having won every game, bar one, against their opponents since 2013. Therefore, we may need to get creative with our prediction for this match to find some value in the markets available!

As you would expect, the bookmakers have Jonas Eidvall’s Arsenal as the heavy odds-on favourites to win this clash. The home side have never lost to Everton, drawing only once. The Gunners were 2-0 winners when playing Everton in the FA Women’s Cup in their last fixture back in June. 

The Gunners began the season with a 2-2 draw with Manchester City at home, a good result against one of the strongest teams in the WSL. They then travelled to Leicester last weekend and emerged with a 1-0 win, a result which has them in joint-fourth in the table alongside Man City. 

However, in Europe, the Gunners lost 1-0 to Hacken in the Champions League Second Round before winning the home leg 4-0 to progress into the Group Stages.

It’s been a tough start to the new season for Everton manager Brian Sorensen with his team yet to score a goal and sitting in eleventh place in the 12-team table. The Blues are without a point from either of their opening league games.

The Toffees lost their season-opener 4-0 away to Brighton and then they followed that up with a 1-0 home defeat to Manchester United last weekend. However, in the FA Women’s National League Cup in midweek, they avoided defeat when drawing 1-1 away to Newcastle United in the first of their three games in that competition.
