Arsenal vs Eintracht Frankfurt Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

Both of these sides aren't having a great deal of success in their domestic leagues. Arsenal are top of this Europa League group and are six points clear of third placed Eintracht Frankfurt. The Gunners have won three of their four games in this group and have a healthy four point lead over Standard Liege, who they travel to in their last match. A win for Arsenal will take them into the last 32 and perhaps take a bit of the pressure off manager Unai Emery. Arsenal have gone six league and cup games without a win but over 90 minutes, they have drawn five of them including a 5-5 draw at Anfield in the Carabao Cup. In the Europa League, Arsenal have won both of their home games with a 4-0 win over Standard Liege and 3-2 defeat of Vitoria de Guimaraes. The reverse fixture with Frankfurt saw them win 3-0. Only one of their last 10 Europa League games have been lost, even though they regularly leave out their top players. That one defeat was to Chelsea in last season's final. Their last seven home games in this competition have all been won with at least two goals scored in six of them.

Whereas Arsenal are down in eighth in the Premier League, their opponents are 10th in the Bundesliga. Frankfurt come into this game having lost three matches in a row. They are third in this Europa League group but only behind Standard Liege on goals scored (four against five). Frankfurt have won two and lost two so far with the victories coming at home to Liege and away at Guimaraes. With their final game being at home to Vitoria, they are still in with a chance of qualifying even if losing this game. Frankfurt reached the semi-finals of this competition last season and would have met Arsenal in the final but for losing a penalty shoot-out to Chelsea. They aren't in the best of form though, particularly on their travels. Frankfurt have lost three of their last four on the road with eight goals conceded. Two of their last three away games in the Europa League have also been lost. The tip here is for a home victory for Arsenal.
