Both of these sides have new managers for the upcoming season, a common occurrence for Chelsea but one that hasn't happened for a couple of decades for the Gunners. Arsenal have started well under their new manager with a draw against Atletico Madrid (losing in a penalty shoot-out but still earning a point) and then beating PSG 5-1 which must have pleased Emery getting one over his former club. They are without several players of course but do have Mesut Ozil and he scored one of the goals against PSG. They also have Lacazette on board and he scored twice against PSG. A win over Chelsea could take them to the top of the table in the International Champions Cup, depending on how Tottenham fare against Milan.

Chelsea opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Inter Milan on Saturday and then won the penalty shoot-out to earn two points from the game. Wins in their final two matches against Arsenal and Lyon would put them in a strong position to win the cup. They are also under strength but do have new signing Jorginho who arrived soon after their new boss Maurizio Sarri arrived at the club. Chelsea have been struggling for goals though with six in the last seven and Arsenal seem stronger at present so back them to get the win.
