After a poor start to the season, Arsenal are on a run of five wins and a draw in their last six matches. They have scored 13 goals in those games but are still six points behind the league leaders. Good form indeed but aside from a goalless draw at Chelsea, the other five wins have been against the likes of Bournemouth, Doncaster, West Brom, Cologne and BATE. The Gunners excel at beating average teams but it's when they face the best out there, the wins start to dry up. Home form remains strong though with three league wins out of three this season but all against sides in the bottom half of the table and two of the bottom four. Only one defeat in their last 21 at home though so this is a daunting prospect for Brighton and Hove Albion. They moved up to 13th in the table after a 1-0 home win over Newcastle last weekend but have just one point from three away games and one goal scored. On their travels they have faced Leicester, Watford and Bournemouth so this is by far their toughest task to date. Away from home they have gone six away league games without a win. A local website in Brighton believes this is a good time to be facing Arsenal but that doesn't make sense. Arsenal played in the Europa League on Thursday but fielded a virtual reserve team so the top Gunners will be ready for this. Go for Arsenal on a -1 handicap.
