Arminia Bielefeld are one from bottom in the German Bundesliga. A home loss to 15th placed Hertha Berlin will result in their relegation. Hertha are the team that Bielefeld have to catch with a six-point gap between the two sides with three games remaining. Arminia Bielefeld lost at Koln last weekend and that was their seventh loss in the last eight league games with only one point earned. They play Hertha and then 13th placed Bochum before a final game at home to RB Leipzig. Their goal difference is better than that of Hertha’s but it’s going to take a big improvement in form for Bielefeld to survive. They have only won two home league games this season. Eight have been drawn though with only five defeats. Only 13 home league goals have been scored in 15 games. They have lost two of their last three home Bundesliga fixtures with two of them ending in defeat.

Hertha Berlin are one place and four points ahead of the relegation zone with three games remaining. A win here and a loss for 16th placed Stuttgart against Wolfsburg will see them safe. They were in deeper trouble a while back but have won ther last two games and three of the last five. A form guide for the last five Bundesliga matches has them in seventh place. Their away form has been poor this season with only three wins. They had gone nine without a win before a vital victory at Augsburg. Hertha won the reverse fixture 2-0 and can complete a league double over Bielefeld with an away win this weekend.
