Armenia will play host to Croatia on matchday six of the UEFA European Championship Qualifiers this Monday. The hosts are currently in third place in Group D, level on points with their opponents, who are one place above them. Armenia secured a very good point against group leaders Turkey in their last match over the weekend. In fact, they were just two minutes away from victory before Bertug Yildirim got a late equaliser for the Turks. With that result, Armenia are now unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions. Their only loss of the competition came on matchday one, which was followed by back-to-back wins over Wales and Latvia. Looking further back, though, those two wins were the only victories they have managed in their last 12 matches, which included five consecutive losses at the Nations League last year. They are the clear underdogs in this one, according to the bookies. 

Meanwhile, Croatia come into this fixture following a convincing 5-0 win over Latvia last weekend. While they are currently second in the group, Croatia have already qualified for the playoffs, having topped their group at the Nations League. In that tournament, they went all the way to the final but were beaten by Spain on penalties. That was also the only loss they have conceded in their last six matches, along with four wins and a draw. The visitors are unbeaten in this competition after three matches with one draw and two wins. They have also maintained clean sheets in each of their last two matches. Croatia are the out-and-out favourites to win this one.
