Argentina were in dominant form in their group winning all three games, scoring ten goals and conceding just the one. That was a second half injury time goal in their opening 2-1 win over Chile. They followed that up with two more impressive wins beating Panama 5-0 and then Bolivia 3-0. Their 10 goals so far have been scored by eight different players with Messi banging in a hat-trick against Panama. Venezuela have just one point from six World Cup qualifiers but have shown much improved form in this tournament. They struggled to get a 1-0 win over Jamaica in their opening game but then caused a big upset when West Brom striker Rondon got the winner against Uruguay who are currently top of the South American qualifying group, 12 clear of Venezuela. Qualification was guaranteed for Venezuela when they drew 1-1 with Mexico after taking an early lead. It's an improvement by Venezuela who have conceded twice in five of their six World Cup games yet only conceded one in three here. They have a might task on their hands if they want to reach the semi-finals. Argentina should be able to get a convincing win here and can be backed to win on a -1 handicap.
