It's not been the easiest of World Cup qualifying campaigns so far for Argentina. They start this round of games down in fifth place which would only guarantee them a play-off game. However, the Argentinians are only a point behind fourth placed Chile so a win at home against them will take them into the automatic qualification places. Both Paraguay and Ecuador have won away in Argentina during this group but they have won three of the other four home qualifiers including a victory over second placed Uruguay. Chile are in fourth and that's mainly down to their home form but it's a key fact that they lost 2-1 at home to Argentina. Away from home, Chile have just two wins against struggling Peru and Venezuela. They have lost three away qualifiers and both Ecuador and Uruguay beat them 3-0. Argentina are unbeaten over 90 minutes in their last six games against Chile (they've lost two Copa America games on penalties). With home advantage, Argentina can get a vital home win.
