Argentina vs Bolivia Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup
by Daniel Ngulu | in World Cup Predictions
Argentina are coming from their debacle in Brazil to host Bolivia, in their first game on home soil in three months. They head to this game still holding on second place in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers with 15 points, nine ahead of Bolivia who are ninth in the 10-team standings. As a result of the fracas in Brazil, where their game was suspended, Argentina will miss a number of stars. Emiliano Martinez and Emiliano Buendia will be absent for the game while Giovanni Lo Celso and Christian Romero’s participation is doubtful. With the quality in the Argentina team, the quartet won’t be missed that much, and playing at home, they will be odds on to add to their 21-game unbeaten run. They have six wins in their last seven matches, and at home, they are unbeaten in the last six matches.
Bolivia, on the other hand, go to this game winless in their last seven matches, with five losses in there. They are coming from a 4-2 loss away in Uruguay and have conceded at least two goals in three of their last five matches while they have no clean sheet in 10 matches. Bolivia have three straight away losses but a shining light in the team is Cruzeiro forward Moreno Martins, the leading scorer in the qualifiers. The striker has eight goals, three ahead of Neymar after adding two to his tally in the loss to Uruguay. Bolivia haven’t made Moreno’s form count for much though, having conceded the most goals (19) in the qualifiers so far. In their last game against Argentina, Bolivia lost 4-1 in Copa America, that coming after a 2-1 loss to Argentina in these qualifiers. Their loss in Copa America was the sixth in seven matches against Argentina.

Our Argentina vs Bolivia Prediction
Bolivia are in a very poor run, and especially in defence they haven’t done well. While in Moreno Martins they have what it takes to trouble the Argentina defence, they haven’t been very strong defensively. Argentina will miss a number of their star players but they still have good quality for this game. Back Argentina to lead in both halves.
