Antalyaspor vs Galatasaray Prediction & Betting Tips - Super Lig

Galatasaray’s title defence is going on well so far, and they will want to keep it that way when they travel to Antalyaspor. These two sides meet in one of the fixtures coming after a two-week break to accommodate international matches. Read on for our prediction as Akrepler challenges league leaders Cimbom Aslan.

Two wins in eight league matches have left Antalyaspor just three points above the red zone. This isn’t a fixture they’ve really excelled in but a win here could lift them into the top half.

Going by their recent form, that looks unlikely, as Antalyaspor have lost three times in the last five matches. Before going into the international break, they had suffered a 2-1 loss away to Rizespor. 

The fact that they have six defeats in seven meetings with Galatasaray further complicates their chances. 

A fine start to the season means Galatasaray will go into this game as one of the three remaining unbeaten sides in the league. 

They are deservedly at the summit, with 24 points; six ahead of their closest challengers. After back-to-back draws, Galatasaray returned to winning ways two weeks ago, beating Alanyaspor 1-0. 

That was the lowest score they have posted this season in the Super Lig. The champions are eyeing a 10th league game without defeat, having won eight of the previous nine. 

They are, however, failing on the defensive part, managing just two clean sheets in the last 12 league matches. Meanwhile, in 29 league outings, they failed to score just once.
