Andorra vs Malta Prediction & Betting Tips - UEFA Nations League

Andorra play their first match in the 2024-25 Nations League. This is League D action and so far in this three-country group Moldova have beaten Malta at home. Now it's Andorra's turn to host Malta and here's our match prediction.

The winners of this group are automatically promoted to League C. Finishing second takes a team into the promotion play-offs. Andorra will be confident of at least finishing in second place in this  group.

They have always played in League D and failed to win a match in the first two tournaments. Progress was made in 2022-23 with two wins, two draws and a couple of defeats but it wasn't enough to win them promotion.

The Tricolors were unbeaten at home in their last Nations League campaign. Form in other competitions continues to be a struggle and their last 18 internationals have failed to produce a win.

Their last victory was against Liechtenstein in September 2022.  Only five of their last 12 home matches has seen them lose and they will be hoping to get back into winning ways against Malta.

The visitors have already played one match and their promotion hopes were hit by that defeat away in Moldova. Malta have lost their last three games with 11 goals being conceded. They have played eight games since a home win over Gibraltar.

On the road, the Reds have lost their last seven matches, most recently conceding seven in Czechia. 13 goals have been conceded in those four matches with just one goal scored. They have won four games in the last two Nations League competitions.

Their record against Andorra is pretty good by their standards. Four previous matches have produced three draws and a win for them at home in 2020.  We go for under 2.5 goals to be scored in this match.
