Altos PI vs America Prediction & Betting Tips - Brasileirão Série C

Altos have a chance to move off the bottom of Brazil's Serie C. They host America RN who are a point above them after 12 matches of the season. The home side are only two points from safety and six behind the promotion play-offs. 'The Alligator' needs to improve its bite if wanting to get out of trouble. Altos have only won two league games this season and are without a victory in their last seven fixtures. There has been some sign of a recovery though with three of their last five Serie C matches being drawn. Their last game saw them come from behind to get a 1-1 draw at San Bernardo who are seventh in the table. Home form for Altos has seen them win one of their five league fixtures. There's been a single defeat with the other three drawn. Two points have been earned from the last three on home soil played by the wonderful nicknamed 'The Mechanical Mango.'

America RN are struggling for points and goals. They've only scored eight goals in their 12 Serie C matches this season. That's three less than their opponents and only Pouso Alegre (one place above them) have scored less. The away side have lost three of their last four league fixtures. Their most recent match saw them lose 2-1 at home to Minaus. They led that game 1-0 in the second half but a last-gasp goal doomed them to another defeat. That was their sixth defeat of this Serie C season, one more than their Altos. Away form has seen them win one out of seven with three defeats. Their win came at out-of-form CSA and the goal scored in the 1-0 victory was their only away goal so far this season. It's hard to trust either side at present but we go for a double chance bet on Altos to win or draw.
