Bottom of the table Almeria host seventh placed Real Betis in La Liga on Sunday. The home side are still searching for their first league win of the season with just three points from 14 La Liga fixtures. La Union begin the weekend seven points from safety and a long hard battle against relegation is being fought. They have conceded 37 goals in La Liga this season which is four more than any other side in the table and 21 more than their opponents. UDA come into this game having lost each of their last six league matches. Their most recent defeat (their 11th in La Liga this season) saw them take an early lead at Getafe but end up losing 2-1. Of their three league points earned this season, two have come at home against Valencia and Granada but the last two have both ended in defeat.

Real Betis are only a point behind the sixth place that would take them into next season's Conference League. They have won six of their 14 league fixtures, drawing the same number and only losing twice. The Green-and-Whites lost at Sparta Prague on Thursday evening but still top their Europa League group with one game to play. Last weekend saw them beat Las Palmas 1-0 at home to extend their unbeaten run in La Liga to nine games since a mid-September 5-0 loss at Barcelona. Away form has been a bit of a struggle with only one win from seven games. Four have been drawn with only two lost. This is a game they need to be winning if wanting to get into Europe again next season and we go for an away victory.
