Ninth placed Al Wedha bid to avoid a third successive Saudi Professional League defeat. They host Damac who are 16th and in the relegation places.  The home side lost their opening game of the new season but then scored six in their next two to earn six points. That good form hasn't continued though with a couple of defeats with seven goals being conceded. They lost 3-0 at home to high-flying Al Ittihad and then were beaten 4-1 last week at Al Taawon. That's two of the top three and this home game against Damac is an easier task for them.

Damac have only two teams below them in the Saudi Professional League. Just three points have been earned from their five league matches, all from draws. Their season began with a 1-0 home loss at Al Tai and the next three league fixtures all ended in score draws. They did well to get a 2-2 home draw with Al Riyadh after conceding twice in the first half. The next two were frustrating though as they gave away leads in both matches. Their most recent game saw them again take the lead but lost 3-1 at Al Ittifaq with Dembele scoring twice. Damac have only one win in thir last eight away league matches. That sole success just happened to be at Al Wedha in May but only two points have been earned from their next five games on the road.  A bet on both teams scoring in this match may well be a winning one.
