Defending champions Al Ittihad top the Saudi Pro League after two games. The Tigers bid to get a third win of the season away at Al Riyadh who are eighth in the table. Al Ittihad are the only side that are yet to concede a league goal this season. They kicked off the new term with a 3-0 win at Al Raed with Igor Coronado scoring twice. That win for 'The Chief of Clubs' was followed up with a 2-0 home victory over Al Tai though it took them until the 54th minute to break the deadlock. New signings during this transfer window have inclueded Karim Benzema, Fabino, Jota and N'Gole Kante. None have scored their first league goal yet but both Benzema and Fabinho have had assists. Last season saw Al Ittihad win 10 home league games with only one lost. Eight of their last ten away league fixtures have been won.

Newly promoted Al Riyadh have made a steady start to life in the Saudi Pro League. They beat Al Wedha 1-0 at home in their opening match. Then they drew 2-2 at Damak but they squandered a 2-0 lead conceding a 100th minute equalizer. Al Riyadh haven't got anything like the spending power of their opponents with no transfer more than £1m this summer. Saleh Al Abbas scored both the goals at Damak so Al Ittihad will have to watch out for him in this match. This will be tough though and we go for the visitors to win this match and lead at both half and full time.
