Al Hilal vs Al Nasr Prediction & Betting Tips - Saudi Pro League
by Devesh Jaganath in Saudi Pro League Predictions
A blockbuster clash is set to take place on Friday evening in the Saudi Pro League when Al Hilal prepare to take on Al Nassr at the King Fahd International Stadium. The PIF-owned clubs hold the top four places in the division as it stands, but these two have broken away from the pack. The hosts are in pole position with 38 points after 14 games, while the visitors are second and can trim the gap to a single point with a win here. Cristiano Ronaldo gobbled up another record last time out after scoring a brace against Al-Akhdoud. The Portuguese maestro has now scored 527 league goals in his career, the most of any player in history.

Al Hilal - Al Nasr: Form Analysis
Despite Ronaldo grabbing all the headlines last week, Al Hilal deserve their plaudits as well. They have been the best side in the league this season and are the only team in the top flight that has yet to lose a league game. The Blue Waves returned from the international break with a stunning 9-0 win over Al Hazm, recording their 12th win in 14 matches. They followed that up with a 2-0 win over Navbajor in the AFC Champions League in midweek, extending their win streak to 13 in all competitions and unbeaten in 21. However, the last time they did taste defeat was against this opponent in the Arab Club Champions Cup last year.
Meanwhile, after losing their first two matches of the season, many had feared the worst for Al Nassr. However, they quickly rectified their issues and have been incredible ever since, winning 11 and drawing one of their next 12 league games. Al-Alami played out a stalemate against Persepolis in midweek, which took their unbeaten run to 20 matches in all competitions. They are also on a nine-match winning streak in away matches and scored two or more goals in each of those games. While Al Nassr did win the cup encounter between these sides earlier in the year, they did lose 2-0 in the league at this venue last season.

Al Hilal & Al Nasr Squad Analysis
Al Hilal’s performance this season becomes even more impressive when considering they have gotten to the top of the table without Neymar. The Brazilian has missed 25 matches with a cruciate ligament tear and is only expected to return to action next April. Ruben Neves and Ali Al-Bulayhi are on four yellows apiece.
For Al Nassr, the undoubted major concern is currently over the fitness of talisman Cristiano Ronaldo. The skipper was forced to be withdrawn in their last match with a neck injury and was taken to hospital for scans. Aside from CR7, David Ospina remains sidelined with an elbow injury, which should see Nawaf Alaqidi continue in goal. Abdullah Al-Khaibari is on four yellows this season and is at risk of a one-match suspension if he receives another caution here.
