Dutch giants Ajax are looking to open a 10-point gap at the top of the Eredivisie standings when they host Utrecht on Sunday. Ajax have 50 points going to this game and Utrecht have 28, in eighth place. The hosts go to this game on six straight wins and unbeaten in the last 11 matches, nine of them being wins. They have scored two or more in the last three matches and have a seven-point gap at the top. At home in the league, Ajax have no loss in the last four while five of their last 10 league matches at home ended in clean sheets.

The visitors have failed to score in just two of their last 15 matches. Their last meeting with Ajax, a cup game in December, produced nine goals, as Ajax won 5-4. Away from home, Utrecht have three losses in five and only two wins in the nine away league matches they’ve played this season.
