The Eredivisie returns this weekend with Twente making the trip to take on Ajax at the Johan Cruijff Arena on Saturday in an important top-half battle. The hosts come into this match in second place in the league, with 31 points in 15 games. They are just one point ahead of their opponents and three behind league leaders Feyenoord. Ajax spent a lot of the season so far at the top of the league, but their performances in recent weeks have taken a noticeable downturn. Twente will come into this match feeling very confident with their recent form. The visitors are unbeaten in their last six league matches after overcoming Emmen 2-0 in their last game, which took their record to four wins and two draws over that period. However, Twente has not done well in recent times against this opponent, having not won any of their last three meetings. Their away form could also use some improvement, with two wins, two draws, and three losses on their travels. They come up against Ajax at a great time but will find it difficult to overcome the Dutch giants in their own backyard.
