Ajax haven't reached a major European final for 22 years but have a decent chance of doing so this season. They will need to get a good lead at home though as Lyon have been hot stuff at home so far in this season's competition. Ajax are second in the Dutch league this season only four points behind Feyenoord. They lost a vital league game at PSV at the weekend and before that lost the second leg of their Europa League quarter final at Schalke 04. Ajax have won all their home games in the Europa League this season but need to as they have only had one away win. Lyon started the season in the Champions League and had a tough draw up against Juventus and Sevilla. They finished third in their group but did manage to get a draw at Juventus. Away results in the Europa League have ben mixed this season but all three games have seen both teams score with Lyon in top form at home with 13 goals in three matches. It took them a penalty shoot-out to get past Besiktas in the quarter finals and now take on their second Dutch side in the Europa League this season after knocking out AZ in the last 32 with a 7-1 home win. They are fourth in Ligue 1 but that's as high as they are going to get as they are 20 points adrift of Nice in third. A difficult game to predict but go for both teams to score.
