Lille are coming from a very humiliating defeat at home to PSG and they will hope to recover when they travel to Ajaccio for their fourth match of the season in Ligue 1. Hosts Ajaccio go into this game placed 18th with one point, while Lille are 12th with four. It hasn’t been the welcome Ajaccio anticipated in Ligue 1 after their second placed finish in Ligue 2 last season and here they are, stuck in the red zone and already struggling. They are coming from a 2-1 loss to Rennes, their second defeat of the season after opening with a loss by the same margin, to Lyon. Their only point so far has come from a 0-0 draw with Lens. Away from home, Lille have failed to score in just one of five league games, and they have no clean sheet in those five matches.
