Superliga champions Midtjylland will open their title defence with an away game at AGF Aarhus on Friday. Ahead of the opening game of the 2024/25 Danish topflight season, here we look at the stats regarding the match then offer a prediction.

Two months after the end of last season, it is befitting that the champions are the first on stage. Hosts AGF finished last season strongly but missed out on European football.
