Aduana Stars can only play for a second placed finish as they welcome another second-place contender in the Ghanaian Premier League, Nsoatreman. Events in the previous match day meant second placed Aduana can’t finish any higher. Their 1-0 away loss at Bechem United left Aduana nine points behind Samartex with two matches to go. As a result, Samartex, the only top-four side to win last week, were confirmed champions having set an unassailable lead. Heading into this game, Aduana, on 49 points, are only separated from eighth placed Nsoatreman by three points. Aduana Stars’ 1-0 loss to Nsoatreman in December meant they’ve lost two straight games in this fixture. The last time they hosted this fixture though, Aduana Stars emerged 2-0 winners.
