AD Camacha will seek to cause an upset in the Taca de Portugal when they host Famalicao on Saturday. The two teams will battle in the third round with the winner sealing a fourth-round showdown with Benfica. AD Camacha, who earned a walkover against GD Luzense in the last round, have won their last seven matches. Six of these games have come in the fourth division Campeonato de Portugal where they sit top. Camacha have been prolific in this stretch and have scored more than one goal a match in all but one of those fixtures. They were 5-0 winners over Dumiense last time out. Camacha made it all the way to the fourth round of this competition last season.

Famalicao have not been anywhere near Camacha’s recent form. They will however hope their topflight pedigree sees them through here. Joao Sousa’s men have registered only four victories in the 12 matches they have played across all competitions this season. All four wins have come in the league where they currently sit eighth. The Vila Nova have not lost in their last two matches and drew 0-0 with Vizela last time out. Last season, Famalicao made it to the semifinals of the Tac de Portugal. It was the second time in the last five seasons that they had made it that far.
