For Accra Lions, it hasn’t been a great start to the season. They come into this game having won just once in the opening five matches. They have suffered three defeats so far and failed to score in those losses.

Last week they fell 1-0 to Asante Kotoko, failing to build on their last game at home, in which they beat Nsoatreman 3-1. 

The hosts haven't been great in attack this season. They’ve managed more than a goal in just one of the first five games of the season. 

It has been a more positive start to the season for Berekum Chelsea and they are just two points behind the leading pack. The visitors are yet to taste defeat but have only won two of their opening five matches.
