AC Milan welcomes Inter Milan to the San Siro for this Milan derby in the Italian Serie A. The home team are currently in 4th position with eight points while the visitors are in 3rd position with nine points. AC Milan will be disappointed with their goalless draw in their last match against Sassuolo. They however remain one of eight teams in the league that are unbeaten. AC Milan will be concerned about their away form as they have drawn both their matches on the road. Their home form has been perfect with two wins from their opening two matches. The defending league champions have only lost one of their last 14 matches across all competitions with 11 wins and two draws. Their home record is just as impressive and are unbeaten in their last 12 matches with eight wins and four draws.

Inter Milan suffered a setback in their quest to reclaim the league title when they lost 3-1 to Lazio over the weekend but they bounced back with an impressive 3-1 win over Cremonese in their last match. Inter along with league leaders Roma are the only two sides that have achieved three wins so far in the league although they have played an extra match to most of the other teams. The visitors have not had the most successful pre-season as they won only one of their five matches but their league form has assured they will won’t be easy to beat in this match.
