AC Milan had a massive let-off in the last round of the Italian Serie A after drawing with Torino and they will hope for a better result at home when they play host to Genoa. Going into this game, Milan are still top of the table, with 68 points, while Genoa are 19th on 22 points. In their last two matches, Milan have drawn 0-0, and while they’ve gone winless in those two, they have six straight clean sheets, an indicator of great defensive output. They have eight clean sheets in 10 matches and in only one have they conceded more than a goal. However, they haven’t also been scoring a lot; in the last 10 matches they have scored more than once in two matches. In the league, only two of their last 10 matches have produced over 2.5 goals and they are unbeaten in those 10 league matches.

Genoa’s only win in the last 16 matches was against Torino and in 31 matches, they have two wins. Away from home they have one of the poorest runs this season; winless in the last 15 matches and just one win in the total 17 away games across all competitions. They are also carrying a poor scoring run in Serie A away from home, as they have failed to score in four of the last five matches and have just one goal in those five away games.
