AC Milan will be desperate to get back to winning ways when they host a confident Frosinone in Serie A this weekend. This matchday 14 will be played at San Siro on Saturday with the hosts 3rd with 26 points and the visitors 10th with 18 points. Milan are four points behind top-two and have no chances of overcoming that, irrespective of the results in this round. On the downside, with Napoli breathing down their neck two points behind, there’s a possibility that they may slide down the table. The Rossoneri are coming off a 3-1 loss to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League which added to their recent poor form. They have won just two of their last eight matches in all competitions, drawing two and losing four. In the league too, they have won just one of their last five matches, drawing and losing two each.

Frosinone are only three points behind top-five, while being only three points ahead of 14th-placed Sassuolo. That only highlights how tight the battle for mid-table spots is, although recent form is an ally for the visitors. They are coming off three wins across their last four competitive matches, that included two league wins. The lone defeat in that sequence has come at San Siro though, as they lost to AC’s city rivals Inter Milan. It was only a footnote of their travel worries as Frosinone have lost their last four away league matches.
