Milan have not had a good week suffering two successive defeats in Serie A. That has taken them down to 13th in the table with six points from their five games. They need to get back into winning ways when hosting Fiorentina. Their opponents are a point and two places below them in Serie A. Milan's problems began last weekend when losing 2-0 at home to league leaders Inter. Then in midweek, they travelled to Torino and lost 2-1. That was despite taking a first half lead and maintaining it until there were only 20 minutes of the game remaining. Then, two goals in the space of five minutes by Andrea Belotti secured a win for Torino and Milan's third defeat of the season. Scoring is a problem for Milan with only three goals in five league matches but only five conceded.

Fiorentina are only a single point above the relegation zone. It's not been a great 2019 for them and the midweek win over Sampdoria was only their third in 24 league games played this year and the first at home. Mind you, that win was achieved against Sampdoria who are bottom of the table. Away form has seen them lose one and draw one with three goals scored. They have gone eight away league games without a win, losing four of the last five. The tip for this game is under 2.5 goals to be scored.
