AC Milan begin the final day of the Serie A series in sixth place. That's enough to get them into the group stages of next season's Europa League but there's still a chance they could slip down to seventh and have to play in the qualifiers instead. They go into the final game a point clear of Atalanta, who they drew with last weekend after conceding a 92nd minute goal. A win there would have clinched sixth place so now it's back to the drawing board as they try to get a result against eighth placed Fiorentina, while Atalanta go to relegation-threatened Cagliari. Milan only have one point from their last two games and have been struggling at home recently. They have only won one of their last five home league games but three have ended in draws, with two against sides higher than them in the league, but a point might not be enough here to guarantee sixth spot.

Fiorentina are eighth and three points behind seventh placed Atalanta. Two games against their rivals ended in draws so it'd go down to goal difference if they can draw level on points but at the start of play they have one of plus 12 and Atalanta plus 19, so it's not looking good for European football next season.Their current form is a problem with just two wins in the last six league games and three defeats in the last five. On their travels, Fiorentina have been doing well though with four wins out of the last five including a 2-0 win at Roma. A difficult game to predict and a bet on under 2.5 goals looks the safest option.
