Arsenal are currently top of the International Champions Cup table with seven points from their three games. Benfica have won both of their matches so far and a win over AC Milan will make them the new league leaders. If they do win, then the only team who can stop them winning the title will be Manchester United who have also won their first two games. Benfica started their campaign off with a comfortable 3-0 win over Mexican side Guadalajara. They followed that up with a 2-1 win over Fiorentina. Benfica got an early goal (for the second game in a row) but the Italian side equalized in the 29th minute. It looked as if the game was going to go into extra time but then Brazilian winger Caio scored Benfica's winner in the 93rd minute.

AC Milan are already out of contention as far as it comes to winning the International Champions Cup. Their only game to date was against Bayern Munich and that ended in a 1-0 defeat. Leon Goretzka scored the winning goal for the German champions with a first half injury time goal. The Italian side can only earn six points now so no title for them and no European competition this season either due to their Financial Fair Play breaches. Benfica have the momentum here and they can get the win that will take them top of the table. They will then have to hope that Milan can avoid a heavy defeat by Manchester United in their final game.
