Meanwhile, Aberdeen are third, three points behind Celtic having played one game more than the Bhoys. Rangers took a significant step towards winning their first title in a decade when they beat Celtic 1-0 in the Old Firm derby last weekend. They have won 20 of their 22 games, stringing together a 14-match winning streak in the league ahead of this fixture. That includes a seven-match winning streak away from home, a run that featured a victory at Celtic Park. Rangers are a good team by continental standards, collecting points away to Benfica, Standard Liege, Porto, and Sporting Braga in recent seasons. They are the highest scorers in the top flight (with 57 goals, 12 more than Celtic) and have conceded fewer goals than any other team (five goals, the next best being Celtic with 15). This Rangers side is remarkable.
