Mainz will hope to secure their first league win of the season when they host RB Leipzig on Saturday in the German Bundesliga. After nine rounds of play, Mainz are bottom of the standings while Leipzig are fifth. Mainz are one of two teams yet to record a league victory this season. RB Leipzig also suffered defeat in midweek in the DFB Pokal. Marco Rose’s men went down 1-0 away to Wolfsburg and will not be defending the title they won last season. The loss also ended a three-match winning streak and they will be keen to get right back on the horse. Leipzig, who have a trip to Serbia coming up next week in the Champions League, have won six of their nine league matches. They have amassed 20 points and sit five points off the pace.
