FSV Mainz will hope to ease their relegation worries on Saturday, when they welcome Augsburg at the MEWA Arena in Mainz. Ermedin Demirovic’s brace guided Augsburg to their fourth win in seven meetings with Mainz. It ended their run of two straight losses against Mainz and here they’ll want to build on it. While they seek out all the positives coming into this game, Augsburg will be worried about their defensive form this season. They have one of the worst defences in the league so far, having conceded 39 times in 21 matches. Coming into this game, Augsburg have managed no win in their last three matches, drawing the last two. In their last outing, they impressed in a 2-2 draw at home to Leipzig. It was the third time in four matches that they scored twice, while both sides have scored in Augsburg’s last four matches.
