One of the many matches taking place at the ATP event in Miami on Thursday sees Zizou Bergs take on Nunon Borges. Talk about familiar foes. These two are meeting not for the first time, not for the second time, but for third time in 2025. They first faced off in Auckland, Australia back in January, before meeting also at the ATP event in Marseille, France last month. Having lost both of those matches, Nuno Borges, who is ranked marginally above Thursday's opponent, will be looking to improve, though those two recent wins against the Portuguese player may just give Bergs the mental advantage.
Zizou Bergs was knocked out quite early at the event in Indian Wells, losingto Popyrin, so he's had a couple of weeks to rest and prepare for this tournament. The same cannot be said for Nuno Borges, who played in Phoenix after Indian Wells, winning his first two matches before losing to eventual finalist Alexander Bublik. Can he bounce back here?
