Detroit Pistons (36-29) versus Washington Wizards is an Eastern Conference clash on Tuesday night at the Little Caesars Arena. This is the first of their back-to-back matchup this week, with both teams set to meet again on Wednesday night at the same venue. The Pistons are firmly in the postseason race, sitting in sixth position with a .554 winning percentage. As it stands, they are 18.5 games behind the Cavaliers and only a game behind the fourth-placed Bucks. The Pistons are coming off a hard-fought 7-point victory over the Trail Blazers and will be eager to bag their second straight win on Tuesday against the last-placed Wizards. Washington Wizards have all but given up their postseason dreams unless something drastic happens. They suffered a 15-point loss to the Raptors on Sunday night, their 24th loss in 30 away matches this season. Still, Brian Keefe’s men will be shooting for a win and improve their standings.
