Although the Lynx remains the No.1 team in the Western Conference, the recent setbacks have allowed the Seattle Storm (13-7) to close the gap in the standings. Meanwhile, the Mystics have lost three of their last four games and slide to 5-16 this season. A 98-77 loss at the hands of the defending champion Las Vegas Aces is a proof that Washington hasn’t reached the point where it’s ready to compete with championship contenders.
