The Las Vegas Golden Knights will take on the Montreal Canadiens for the first time this season on Saturday at Bell Center. Ilya Samsanov had an outstanding goalkeeping job, recording 38 saves to improve his record to 4-2-1. Ivan Barbashev dished out two assists, while Pavel Dorofeyev slotted in the goal that iced the match for Las Vegas. The Canadiens have also won three of their last five games and secured back-to-back wins against the Colombus Blue Jackets 5-1 and the Edmonton Oilers 3-0. In their victory against the Oilers, the Canadiens on goalkeeper Sam Montembeult, who secured his second shutout of the season after posting 30 saves without conceding a goal.
