Following two wildly different quarter finals, Colombia and Uruguay face off in a Copa America semi-final that could be the game of the tournament. Colombia demolished Panama 5-0 in their quarter final, with five different players finding the net. This followed a group stage in which they finished above pre-tournament favorites Brazil. Speaking of the Brazilians, they fell victim to an incredible defensive showing by Uruguay in Saturday night's quarter final. Despite losing Nahitan Nandez in the second half, the Uruguayans held on for a 0-0 draw, before winning 4-3 on penalties. Uruguay will be without Nahitan Nandez, following his redcard against Brazil. Experienced centre half José María Giménez is likely to come into the team to replace him. Aside from that, Marcelo Bielsa has a full strength squad to choose from, so don't expect any other changes from the quarter final. Maximiliano Araujo and Darwin Nunez have led the way so far with two goals each, but with seven different scorers already in the tournament, it is clear that Uruguay are not overly reliant on their frontmen to provide the goals.
