The UCF Knights brace for their first real test as they visit the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday at Amon G. Carter Stadium. The Knights emphatically won their first two games, beating New Hampshire and Sam Houston by an average winning margin of 42.5 points. KJ Jefferson passed the ball more efficiently in the game against Sam Houston, completing 12 of his 15 passes for 169 yards. As expected, UCF’s dynamic running backs crew put on a show, tallying 384 rushing yards with six touchdowns. RJ Harvey continued to back up his claim as the best running back in the nation after he rushed for 126 yards on 19 carries and four touchdowns. The Horned Frogs also posted a 2-0 record after shutting down Long Island 45-0. TCU, who also beat Standford 34-27 in the season opener, will count on quarterback Josh Hoover to sustain his strong start against UCF. Hoover already logged 620 passing yards with four touchdowns, while running back Cam Cook ran for 139 yards on 33 carries with four touchdowns after two games.
