Tottenham's season is on the line this Thursday, as they attempt to overturn a 1-0 first leg deficit in their Europa League last 16 tie against AZ. It has been a dismal season for Ange Postecoglu's team - they are languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table and out of both domestic cup competitions. Landing a first European trophy since 1972 would go a long way towards appeasing a fan base that has grown increasingly disgruntled with how the club is being run. As for AZ, they are also experiencing a tough season domestically and are currently down in sixth in the Eredivisie table following last week's dismal 3-1 defeat away at Heerenveen. However, they go into Thursday's second leg with a narrow advantage, after an own goal from Lucas Bergvall handed them victory in what was a very disappointing first leg.Limited Offer. Spurs came from 2-0 down to claim a point at home to Bournemouth on Sunday. In Europe, there has been a massive contrast between their home and away form. At the AFAS Stadium, they have five wins and a draw from their six games, but on the road, they are yet to register a victory.
