After both teams won on Wednesday, the Heat and Raptors meet in an NBA Cup game in Miami where the Heat will be a 6.5-point betting favorite. The Raptors visited the Heat twice last season in April 2024 and both lost by more than 115 points.

The Raptors' 5-14 losing record that has them 13th in the Eastern Conference may not do justice to the fact that despite playing much of the season through significant injuries, their games have generally been closer than expected, as their ATS record is 13-6-0. They got their fifth close game against the Pelicans on Wednesday and won their first road game of the season in New Orleans. Jamison Battle, who had shot few three-pointers and with inaccuracy this season, did well last game shooting 8 and making 6 baskets. RJ Barrett had a good game with 22 points and 11 assists and with Agbaji who also made 24 points they ended the 10-game losing streak on the road.

The Heat also won against the Hornets but the offense is not quite what was expected as they are almost surpassing 110 points per game this season. But the one who remains consistent in scoring is Tyler Hero who since November 4 has always scored 18 points or more in each game in many of them approaching 40 minutes of play on the court.
