The Chicago Cubs host the Toronto Blue Jays at Wrigley Field on Friday in the first game of a three match series. Both franchises have experienced difficult seasons and both are currently under .500. However, recent results for the Blue Jays have been encouraging and they come into this game off the back of a 3-0 sweep of the Angels. Despite those results they are still two games adrift at the bottom of the AL East table. As for the Cubs, they lost 3-0 to the Guardian in their last series, but overall, recent results have been encouraging and they still retain hopes of making the post season.
