At the Miami Open, on the ATP side of things on Tuesday, likely in the evening, there's an all Czech Republic clash. Tomas Machac will take on compatriot Jakub Mensik, with the pair facing off in a hard-court tournament for the second time in less than two months. Now ranked 21st in the world, Machac, who is the higher ranking of the two players, arrives in the US in hot form ahead of the recently concluded Indian Wells event. He won the event in Mexico, beating Mensik in three sets, before going on to secure some rather impressive wins against the likes of Nakashima and Davidovich Fokina, picking up his first proper ATP title. 

Machac has also started well in Miami, beating Arnaldi in three sets, before shifting through the gears to beat the big-hitting Riley Opelka in straight sets. Machac isn't the only one in strong form, though, oh no. Jakub Mensik has also been playing very well in Miami, winnin each of his last two matches in straight sets, beating world number seven Jack Draper, which is not to be ignored. This is definitely an interesting match between two in-form players, who could easily push each other all the way.
