The No. 10 Texas Tech Red Raiders (21-7, 12-5) will try to get back to their winning ways today when they visit the Kansas Jayhawks (19-9, 10-7) at the Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, KS. This Big 12 battle will get underway at 2 p.m. ET with coverage via ESPN. Despite their better record, the Red Raiders are 4.5-point underdogs to the home team Jayhawks.

Texas Tech has been off since losing at home to No. 4 Houston on Monday 69-61. Fans were hopeful going into the game since the Red Raiders had defeated the Cougars in Houston on Feb. 1 (82-81 OT). The Cougars took a 33-30 lead into the break after a back-and-forth opening half. The game remained somewhat competitive in the second as Houston tried to pull away, but Texas Tech wouldn’t let them. But in the end, Houston’s top-ranked defense was too much. As for the Jayhawks, Kansas will take a two-game win streak into the contest after beating Oklahoma State 96-64 and Colorado 71-64. However, as convincing as those wins were, their previous two losses paint the opposite kind of picture (91-57 vs. BYU and 74-67 vs. Utah).
