Paris Olympics: Our prediction for the winner of the men's tennis tournament
For this new Olympic tournament, the uncertainty has never been greater, so much so that many players can lay claim to a medal. Hostilities will take place at Porte d'Auteuil on the legendary clay courts of Roland Garros. This is bound to give clay court specialists a considerable advantage. Three major favorites are currently emerging. The first is, of course, Novak Djokovic, world number 1 and three-time winner on the Parisian courts. He has never won gold at the Olympic Games, and will inevitably make this event his main objective of the season.
Carlos Alcaraz will be the second great favorite in this competition. He is extremely formidable on clay and has no real weak points when in form. However, the young Spanish prodigy is racking up physical problems and we'll have to see what state he's in in a few weeks' time. Finally, the last big favorite is Jannik Sinner. The Italian has made the best start to the season and is well ahead of the race. He has already won the Australian Open and could well go on to do so.
The main outsiders include Stéfanos Tsitsipás, Casper Ruud, and Alexander Zverev. All three are very successful on clay, but remain rather inconsistent. Rafael Nadal could be in the running for this Olympic tournament, but that's not a certainty...
As for our bet on the winner of the tournament, we think Carlos Alcaraz has a good chance of coming out on top. He's in a very good period and excels on clay. This year, he has a perfect record against his main rivals. Plus, the format is best of 3 sets, which clearly makes it easier to get the better of a Djokovic not in top form. Our men's tennis prediction for the 2024 Olympic Games: victory for Carlos Alcaraz!

Our prediction for the women's tennis tournament at the 2024 Olympics
The women's tournament at the Paris Olympic Games promises to be particularly exciting to follow. We know that in this kind of competition, there can be many surprises. This was the case at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo when Switzerland's Belinda Bencic won the gold medal. That edition was particularly surprising, with only one player in the top 8 making the semi-finals (Elina Svitolina). Will this be the case again this year? It's far less certain!
Indeed, the hierarchy is much more established and Iga Swiatek is the overwhelming favorite to win Olympic gold. She is world number 1 and has already won three Masters 1000 titles so far this year. What's more, Aryna Sabalenka is not taking part in these Olympic Games, which means one less threat for Swiatek. Our women's tennis prediction for the 2024 Olympics: victory for Iga Swiatek!
2024 Olympic women's tennis prediction: women's gold medal odds
- Iga Swiatek (POL) -250
- Coco Gauff (USA) +650
- Elena Rybakina (KAZ) +1100
- Marketa Vondrousova (CZE) +1600
- Danielle Collins (USA) +1600
- Mirra Andreeva (AIN) +1800
- Naomi Osaka (JPN) +1800
- Jasmine Paolini (ITA) +2400

Our prediction on the men's doubles at the 2024 Olympics
Based on the ATP doubles rankings, the USA have a good chance of a medal with two top-10 players (Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek). The French can also claim a medal with an experienced pairing of Fabien Reboul and Édouard Roger-Vasselin. Spain is sending two competitive teams, namely the duos Marcel Granollers (world No. 1 in doubles) / Pablo Carreno Busta and Carlos Alcaraz / Rafael Nadal. A place on the podium or a gold medal is therefore on the cards for Spain. Finally, Great Britain is also sending out some heavyweight players, with two in the top 30 doubles (Joe Salisbury / Neal Skupski) as well as a Daniel Evans / Andy Murray duo. The United States, however, is in with a shout of the gold medal.

Our prediction on women's doubles tennis at the 2024 Olympics
Like the men's doubles, the draw is open for the women's doubles. There are likely to be plenty of surprises, and predictions can be rather hazardous. Among the favorites, Czech pair Katerina Siniakova / Barbora Krejcikova stand out, as do the USA (Coco Gauff / Jessica Pegula), Italy (Jasmine Paolini / Sara Errani) and Spain (Sara Sorribes Tormo / Cristina Bucsa). A good bet for the women's doubles at the 2024 Olympic Games. Things look more complicated for the French pair Caroline Garcia / Diane Parry, who can nevertheless claim a place on the podium. What prediction for the mixed doubles at the Olympic Tennis Games?
Mixed doubles is often a difficult event to predict... Pairs hardly ever play together, as the different players prefer to play singles or doubles in their own category. In other words, betting on the winner now is like tossing a coin in the air... For this type of competition, we advise you to bet on the matches and check whether the two players have already played together. Knowing each other well is fundamental in doubles, and could make all the difference to other pairs.

Our tips for correctly predicting tennis at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
To make the right tennis predictions during the 2024 Olympics, here are a few tips to consider:
- Analyze the players' current form before the Olympic Games
- Look at the history of head-to-head matches
- Take into account the surface at the Paris Olympics
- Look at the players' clay-court results
- Take into account the Olympic Tennis calendar
Are you passionate about tennis and thinking of betting at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games? This global event promises to be captivating, with some particularly interesting competitions to follow. If you're thinking of trying your luck and placing a few bets, we advise you to read on for all the information you need to maximize your chances of success. Although there are no guaranteed wins in sports betting, these recommendations can help you fine-tune your bets and, hopefully, increase your winnings. Enjoy!
Analyze players' current form before the Olympic Games
To begin with, we strongly advise you to take a look at the current form of the various players. This is an extremely important parameter, as tennis is a sport of confidence, and even a top player can find himself in a poor frame of mind, with a succession of defeats. You should therefore avoid betting solely on the ATP rankings, as they are not an absolute value.
We encourage you to look at both players' results over the last three or four tournaments, and examine their winning percentage. Don't forget to look at the opponents they've faced in those tournaments. A defeat against Novak Djokovic does not have the same impact as a setback against a player ranked beyond the 100ᵉ place in the world. Finally, don't forget to consider the fitness levels of the different players. This is a fundamental parameter, especially on clay. Indeed, a player returning from a long period of convalescence will have less rhythm and will therefore be more likely to lose.
Look at the history of head-to-head matches
Think about analyzing the various head-to-head confrontations between the two players. Sometimes, the lower-ranked player has a positive win ratio (overall or on a particular surface) against his opponent. Tennis is a sport where mental strength plays a key role, and a string of victories over the same opponent gives a definite advantage. This is surely one of the easiest and quickest parameters to analyze, so it would be a shame to miss out on it! As a general rule, avoid betting on a player with too high a negative ratio against an opponent, as you're likely to lose your stake.
Taking surface into account at the Paris Olympics
The surface is a fundamental parameter to take into account when betting on tennis. Playing on clay is not the same as playing on hard court. There are some real specialists in this field, while others are much less at ease. Daniil Medvedev, for example, doesn't like this surface at all. That's why we haven't included him as a favorite or outsider, despite his excellent ranking.
How can you tell if a player is good on clay? The easiest way is to look at his results on this surface, which will give you a good indication. If you want to go a step further, look for players with a lot of lift, who are very fast and solid from the baseline. These are the key parameters for playing well on this surface. Even if there are other performance indicators, this will be a very good start!
Look at players' clay court results
In the same vein as our previous tip, consider analyzing the results of the clay-court season. With one Grand Slam and three Masters 1000 events (Monte Carlo, Rome and Madrid), you'll have plenty of data to help you assess a player's form on this surface. It doesn't take long, and it's highly effective!
Observing players' performances at these tournaments will give you a good idea of their level and current form on clay. By taking these results into account, you can fine-tune your bets and increase your chances of success.
Take into account the Olympic Tennis calendar
With the Olympics just around the corner, it's going to be a busy season for tennis players. The French Open and the clay-court season came to an end in mid-June, before moving on to the legendary London grass courts. This year, Wimbledon ends on July 14, two weeks before the start of the Olympic tournament (July 27-August 4). In other words, it's going to be no picnic for the players.
Fitness will therefore be of paramount importance for this tournament. It may be worth choosing players who were eliminated fairly quickly at Wimbledon and who have had time to rest. What's certain is that you'll need to keep a close eye on this parameter! Make sure you keep an eye on the players' form and any injuries after Wimbledon to make informed bets and maximize your chances of success.
What not to do for your tennis predictions on the Olympic Games in Paris
Of course, you will have to follow the advice given above, but we have also prepared for you a list of mistakes not to make when making your tennis predictions on the 2024 Olympic Games :
- Betting only on your favorite player
- Betting after losing in order to recoup losses

- Not taking into account a player's favorite surface
- Betting only on big or small odds
By avoiding these bad habits when betting on the Olympic Games, you'll be in with a chance of making the most of your bets with the sportsbooks.
