After escaping a first-round scare from Roberto Carballes Baena, Tsitsipas put on a strong showing against Alejandro Tabilo, sweeping the talented Chilean 6-3 6-4. The Greek played an impeccable brand of tennis from the start, bombarding his opponent with seven aces and capturing 27 points on his first serves. Tsitsipas will try to reach or surpass his semifinal finishes at the Paris Masters in the past two years. Cerundolo is coming off a huge upset win over Andrey Rublev of Russia 7-6(6) 7-6(5) . The Argentine showed incredible resilience after forcing and emerging as the winner of two tiebreakers despite trailing by a significant deficit in both sets. Cerundolo won 36 points on his first serves and converted four breakpoints which were crucial in the upset of Rublev.
