This complicated start to the campaign was to be expected for their return to the Bundesliga after a 13-year absence. Although the fans are delighted to have a taste of the Bundesliga once again, the challenge is immense. Last year's champions of the German 2nd division, Sankt Pauli will have to fight hard to maintain their position in 2024/25.
